The File Bin

A Collection of Files for the Curious & Inquisitive

Main -- About

We've all seen the huge bins at recycle centers and second-hand stores just full of all kinds of things. They are a challenge to dig through, but they do have a lot of interesting items in them and it's always fun to find something really useful. With that in mind, I've decided to throw into a huge holding bin for all to view the huge number of files from Roger Mansell as well as the ones that I have gathered through the years -- a much better place for them rather than just have them sit on my hard drive for who knows how long.

I'll be sorting them all out into appropriate online folders as I find time, and will be adding files (e.g. the huge Special Files section) as time permits as well. Feel free to email webmaster Wes Injerd if you think something should NOT be posted here, or you know where it has already been posted (or you know where it should be posted), or you just have further information on it that you'd like to share.

You may find something you are looking for on this growing Excel file for document scans recently obtained at the US National Archives and also The British Archives in Kew: POW rosters and asst files from NARA
