29 May 1945: Camp closed (destroyed by fire, bombed?); POWs transferred to NAGOYA POW camps.

Three POWs died at this camp - two Americans Killion and McMillin; one Dutchman, van Doorne.

Story of Dutch Marine Jan van Doorne. Her died in this camp on 7 March 1945. He survived the sinking of at least three ships.
