Planes had dropped supplies.      I read a report that the Camp Commander Lt. Asaka took the prisoners to a photographer and paid for the photos.    Capt E. Pearce Fleming was a senior American officer in the camp. I don't think he was a cook.      Mike at six foot two inches weighed 100 pounds two weeks before this photograph was taken!
