This is NOT all the missions but simply some of the major missions in 1945 that were the most remembered by Allied POWs. Atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima (05 Aug) and Nagasaki (09 August) are not shown. By mid-July, fighter planes roamed over all of Japan, almost unmolested as the Japanese hoarded over 2000 planes for Kamikazi attacks during the expected invasion.
