Labor:
Mining, iron smelter; POWs were employed by Tohoku Electric and Steel Co. (Tohoku Denki Seitetsu Wagakawa Plant; current company), 800 meters west of the camp along the Waga River.

British: 105 men - Senior Officer was (Lt Col) Doctor Rudolf from Hong Kong (RA Med Corps)
Americans: 188 men - a number of these men are known to have come from the Tokyo Shinjuku Camp
Other Allies: 2 Canadian, 3 Dutch, 1 Aussie, 2 Norwegian
